| Course of Fire: | Commencing at the 50 yard line and progressing to the 7 yard line with times varying from 2 minutes 45 seconds to 4 seconds and shooting positions from prone to sitting to using barricades with pistols being held one hand, two hand or weak hand, and even unsighted. The "READY" position (at 50 yards) is standing 2m behind firing line with loaded pistol on ground, for the remainder of the distances, pistol in hand with arm at 45�. |

| Calibre: | 9mm to 9.65mm (9mm & .357/.38) |
| Distance: | Various, from 50 yards to 7 yards |
| Targets: | Pistol Australia Service Pistol Target |
| Course of Fire: | The same as for Service Pistol Unrestricted except calibers below 9mm not permitted and the cartridge must attain a "power factor" of 120,000 when the projectile weight in grains is multiplied by the velocity in feet per second. The "READY" position for this match is, the shooter standing 2 meters behind firing line with pistol holstered and hands above shoulder height. Before competing in this event a member must obtain a "Safety & Proficiency Card", which requires the holder to perform prescribed test under supervision of an accredited examiner to certify that member as a proficient and safe competitor. |
